Julie Charette

Julie graduated in Physiotherapy from Université de Montréal in 2004.

During her first years of practice, she completed her level 3 in Manual Therapy as well as diverse Kinetic Control courses in order to provide efficient stabilizing exercises to help patients regain function.

She has been practicing in private clinic for the past 17 years, working with patients practicing a wide range of sports such as hockey, soccer, ultimate frisbee, running, ice skating, baseball and dancing. She also assesses and treats concussions and related symptoms, with training through Complete Concussion Management courses.

In 2019, she obtained her Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy with the Robin McKenzie Institute of Canada, which provides an effective assessment and treatment techniques that are a great complement to Manual Therapy, empowering patients to treat their own symptoms.

Julie has interest in running injury and has been assessing and treating runners through the past years, trying to help beginners to love that sport. She also enjoys working with post-surgical patients such as ACL or rotator cuff reconstructions.

She first came to Whistler on a family ski trip in 2008 and fell in love with the mountains and the lifestyle. Years passed, and in 2021, she finally decided to fulfill her dream of living in BC with her family of 4 children.

Julie is an outdoor sport lover. She likes to run and hike, and, in the winter, you will find her on the slopes skiing as often as possible alone or with her family.
