Nina studied at the University of Western Ontario where she graduated with an Honors Bachelor in Health Sciences and a Master’s of Science in Occupation Therapy. During her Master’s program, she completed a clinical placement at the widely known Roth MacFarlane Hand & Upper Limb Clinic in London, Ontario. This is where she fell in love with hand therapy.
Nina then worked in a busy hospital hand therapy department in Ontario where she treated a wide range of upper extremity injuries/conditions spanning from mild sprains to complex post-operative traumatic injuries. During this time, her keen work ethic and dedication enabled her to successfully become a Certified Hand Therapist. As a member of the Canadian Society of Hand Therapists, Nina is passionate about evidence-based practice and frequently attends conferences to ensure her patients are treated with current literature in mind.
Having moved from a very small town in south western Ontario, Nina is new to Whistler and is in awe at the beauty and opportunity that this area has to offer. Outside of work, Nina can be found hiking, reading, dancing, or at the yoga studio.
