Emilie is excited to use her experience as an avid downhill skier and outdoor enthusiast to strengthen her physiotherapy practice and help her patients get back to doing what they love most. Whether it is returning to the slopes, the golf course or simply climbing the stairs, Emilie likes to collaborate with her patients to set task-oriented and functional rehabilitation goals.
Emilie has experience with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries as well as complex post surgical rehabilitation. While working in a rural community, she developed and implemented a post-operative hip and knee replacement rehabilitation program to help guide patients from surgery to normal function.
Originally from Vancouver, Emilie completed her BSc in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria, then her MSc in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University.
Outside of work you can find Emilie on Peak Chair, at the soccer field, or hiking one of our beautiful local mountains.
