Juniper Buller, RMT
Juniper was born and raised in B.C., has lived in Whistler since 2000 and feels connected to the community in her understanding of our need to be healthy and active. She believes the balance between activity and relaxation is key to a healthy lifestyle. Her approach to massage therapy is having a keen eye for detail during assessment, then applying intuitive touch to help achieve your goals.
She graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and her clinical experience includes orthopedic and sports injury prevention and recovery, postural imbalances, TMJ dysfunction, headaches, pregnancy, and systemic conditions. You can expect her to incorporate a variety of techniques such as Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations into your massage. In addition to manual therapy she will prescribe stretching and strengthening exercises to help with functional movement as part of your treatment.
Massage has been an important part of Juniper’s own recovery from injury and allows her to continue with mountain biking, skiing, yoga, trail running and active holidays, as well as work a physical job. In her many years in Whistler she has worked at Whistler Blackcomb, Whistler Sport Legacies, The Spa at Nita Lake Lodge and has volunteered for Ironman, Gran Fondo, Gearjammer, WORCA events and Arts Whistler. She has a passion for the outdoors and you will find her eager to assist you in getting back out there to enjoy all this town has to offer.
Juniper is looking forward to continuing studies in advanced lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, working with neurological conditions and concussion management.
